The Junior Development Program will once again have a number of senior athlete coaches responsible for coaching stations during practices. This year we will have a Junior Development Coaching Coordinator – Lauren Matheson – who will be responsible for creating the drills and stations used in practices. These will be progressive and designed to provide athletes with the fundamental skills needed to compete in all disciplines. Lauren will be communicating with a coaching committee and the other senior athlete coaches to implement the stations used in practice.
Active again this year is the coaching committee made up of adults from our executive. They will be responsible for overseeing the JD program. If there are any problems or concerns in regards to athlete safety, discipline or program implementation please contact either Brian Martinson, Pat Caron, Randi Masich, Cassaundra O’Brien or Rob Millar.
