About the Scholarship
Each year the Prince George Track and Field Club provides scholarship money to deserving graduates of School District #57 and club members from neighbouring districts. This award is in tribute to, and remembrance of, Alriguez Sebastian Rivas and Angie Kohut who were long-standing members of the Prince George Track and Field Club as well as outstanding students and all around athletes.
Recipients are considered based on the following criteria:
- A graduating student of School District #57, or a member of our organization from any other district who has contributed to track and field in an exceptional manner.
- A person who will/may pursue that activity at a post secondary institution or other track and field organization and/or post secondary athletic program.
- Athletic excellence, academic standing, citizenship, leadership and/or previous service to the sport as an athlete, coach, or official will all be important
- This award may be presented to more than one athlete (student).
- The student MUST be a member in good standing of the Prince George Track and Field Club.
Recipients are considered based on the following criteria:
Please provide the following by JULY 31st of this year:
- a copy of your grade 12 transcript
- a cover letter that explains your athletic background/history with the club and plans for your education and athletic future

Successful applicants will receive their scholarship cheques after sending proof of enrollment at a post secondary institution to the Prince George Track and Field Club at one of the above addresses.
