Former PGTF athlete Alyx Treasure capped off a sensational outdoor season with a first-place finish at the Canadian Track and Field Championships in Moncton, New Brunswick!
The high jumper cleared a personal best height of 1.89m/6-02.25 en route to her third career Canadian national title. Treasure’s performance was dominant as she only missed clearing the bar a total of four times. She was a perfect five-for-five leading up to 1.89m, including a first attempt clearance at her previous PR of 1.86m/6-01.50. She reached her personal best clearance of 1.89m on her second attempt, before bowing out at 1.92m/6-03.50 in three attempts.
For Treasure, the title is the third Canadian national title of her career, as she was both the Youth and Junior High Jump Champion. Way to go Alyx!
