Canfor Vice President Kevin Anderson present PGTF director Bryce Gladdish with a cheque for $4000.  The donation was made through Canfor’s “Good Things Come from Trees ” program.  The money will be used to help the Prince George Track and Field club purchase new, safer hurdles for Masich Place Stadium, hopefully in time for the 2022 BC summer Games.

PGTF has been working hard to get their season underway and fundraise for  80 new hurdles.  At a cost of $500 each, these certified, adjustable Gill hurdles are a struggle to purchase. If you, your company or business is in a position to help, please contact the club president Elena Thomas (princegeorgetrackandfield@gmail.com).

Special thanks to all of those who have been able to contribute:
  • Canfor (8 hurdles)
  • Tidewater (2 hurdles)
  • Envision Financial Services (1 hurdle)
  • Brent Bursey & Company Inc. (1 hurdle)
  • The Frenkel Family (1 hurdle)
  • The Schonewille Family (1 hurdle)
  • DMC Chartered Accountants (1 hurdle)
