Geoff received official word today that he has been selected to the Canadian Track and Field to for the World Championships in Daegu, South Korea.

Geoff has previously represented Canada at the World Youth meet, World University games and at the NACAC meet.

Geoff leaves Sunday for a 10 day camp in Korea.

His first race will be the 1500m prelims on Aug. 30th at 11:20 am Korea time (I believe they are 16 hours ahead of us).  So if my calculations are correct that would mean 7:20 pm on the 29th here.

After that, the semi-finals are on Sept. 1st and finals are on Sept. 3rd.

Here is the schedule: Timetable
